Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN STYLE="font-style:italic;text-decoration:underline;"><SPAN>This line feature class was created by the Crawford County Planning Office for the purpose of demonstrating the approximate location of public transit (bus) routes provided by the Crawford Area Transportation Authority (CATA) circa 2023.</SPAN></SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-style:italic;"> The line geometry of these routes was obtained from resources published by CATA and digitized directly into Crawford County’s GIS. This feature class was created in 2023 to support the 2024 update of the Crawford County Comprehensive Plan. Bus transit routes will be used as a part of land use and transportation studies to support further planning work and to set County policies through the comprehensive plan. Bus schedules are not included within this resource. In addition to demonstrating the spatial extent and trajectory of each bus route, this feature class contains data within the following fields:</SPAN></P><UL><LI><P><SPAN>ROUTE {Route} [Crawford Area Transportation Authority] – The name of the bus route as provided by CATA. In Crawford County routes are usually named after the communities they serve.</SPAN></P></LI><LI><P><SPAN>ROUTE_VARIATION {Variation} [Crawford Area Transportation Authority] – For any given bus route, the variations of its route are documented within this field.</SPAN></P></LI><LI><P><SPAN>ROUTE_TYPE {Route Type} [Crawford Area Transportation Authority] – The type of service route provided by CATA.</SPAN></P></LI></UL><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
